I had such a great ride on Finn today... Apparently theyre doing some building in the barn, which was MAJOR cause for concern in Finns mind. We were able to work through it, though, to the point I felt good to get on. Kept him busy with some short serpentines and then trot-yield-trot transitions and within ten minutes it evolved into a really lovely trot circle... relaxed, energized and balanced! I wasnt even thinking about searching for the sweet spot, but Finn found it anyway, lol. Im proud of him, and proud of myself for apparently finding a strategy and attitude that really worked for him!
