I had the WEIRDEST night last night!! I was coming home from - TopicsExpress

I had the WEIRDEST night last night!! I was coming home from Monrovia and the 5 fwy was shut down... They streamed us off onto the 710 and I got LOST!! Then... I FINALLY found the 405 south and then IT shut down at Studabaker Rd.!!!! I crept after the tons of people following the detour signs around all sort of corners for over an hour... got lost again, asked for help at a 7 11 got back on the 405 south only to find I was again north of Studabaker Rd and back where I started from. If not for my Mom, I may have made the same mistake following the wrong detour sign but she said her instincts told her to go straight... FINALLY got back on the 405 south. THEN got home to total darkness in South OC... main intersections were BLACK...cars flying through them all. Did you know you are supposed to STOP if they are down?? at every one!! I got home at THREE AM, came in the house and within 2 minutes the lights came on. It was like THE TWILIGHT ZONE (now I want to write all the wisdom I gained from that experience!)
