I had the chance to interact with a number of the protestors last night in Ferguson ..As is my custom I always interact with protestors in order to listen..I found a great group of people who were intense, and animated in their determination, and very expressive about what they wanted to achieve and certainly committed. Many had been in front of the Ferguson Police station all day and were there well into the morning hours..I had a great conversation with a lot of them who came across the street to talk to me about their views..I certainly did not feel threatened at all..These youth are the future! I was around for the demonstrations of the 60s. I also must add that the Ferguson Protestors there last night were determined to keep their protest peaceful.When one person got a little too animated and approached police..Others walked over and pulled him away to the other side of the street to continue the peaceful protest. I had the honor of running into a Vietnam Vet carrying an American flag protesting on behalf of the Mike Brown issue..I was honored to be able to thank him for his service to the nation.. A man like that who has fought for our freedoms certainly has every right to excersise his freedom to peacefully protest. And he was a nice guy. I also had the experience of being interviewed by someone doing live streaming..A young lady who has all the talents to be a good news reporter. ..She wanted my views on the news coverage of the crisis. I never mind being on the other end of the camera..and answering questions from someone who wanted answers.. I know how that is!
