I had the most amazing sighting between Shingwedzi and Mopani H1-6 ... after already having seen two groups of Tsesebe on the S143 I came across a small group of 4 ... minding their business next to the road when suddenly they trotted off ... as they approached a thicket they scattered in all directions in panic. 3 of them returned cautiously to the thicket to investigate ... after much stomping of hooves, snorting and scything of the air with their horns ... out popped a very big Snouted Cobra / Banded Egyptian Cobra, head up and all flared! Any way the Tsesebe drove the snake out of his hiding place and moved him off to what I imagine is his home hole. ... if Janey would allow it I would like to post one or two max images as I think it is a fairly rare sighting. ... scene setting
