I had the most fantastic day at our church Family Fun Fair yesterday. Interacting with the crowd and other volunteers, and teasing the children while they waited for their ride on the train and hay wagon. But I was most amazed by the politeness of some of the kids by saying please and thank you. One girl stood out over the others by coming to me after her ride and telling me that we forgot to mark her ticket. That does give me hope for humanity. We were all tired and wore out but I am ready to do it again. I also met about 6 new friends. Bring it on!!! 2014
