I had the pleasure of attending the principal coffee tonight and then the school committee meeting. From a newbies (me) perspective, I am in awe of how much these folks have accomplished to get this building open and running. Not everything is perfect - which Mr. Moran was the first to say tonight - but they are giving it 110% to tie up the lose ends. I am truly amazed at how positive and upbeat they remain even after all of the challenges they were faced with (which my guess was a lot with a project of this magnitude). In the scheme of things, I think they did an outstanding job to get it this far, this early in the year. My first impression of the school committee was equally impressive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, very positive and the chemistry that they shared seemed very synergistic. I for one was very impressed. just my .02 I am sure we have all had our own experiences, but i think its important to highlight more of the positive!!
