I had to check IDs briefly at work the other night and had to remember that people who are 18 this year were born in 1996. It instantly made me think about what I was doing in 96, bodyboarding and listening to Nailbomb with Mark Penrose, riding my pushy through the bush with Layton Ryan and listening to The Offspring together, playing soccer for runaway bay and spending my weekends growing up there, buying Survival Of The Fattest at Nerang River Plaza and basically just being a mad cunt with all my mates in grade 9 at Aquinas. In other words, I felt real old.
