I had to give you all a praise report of some things that have happened since I came on FB and made a public apology to God and repented for allowing our child to miss Church a couple nights a month to do sports. First of all before I tell you the good I want to say this. Moses was a representation of authority to the a children of Israel. When he went up on the Mountian to recieve the Ten Commandments it was kind of like, out of sight, out of mind. As soon as he was gone they started doing wrong. What did the Children of Israel do? They boiled down all thier gold and made themselves a golden calf to worship. They took up worshiping a false god. When Moses returned and saw what they were doing he was angry and so was God. Moses was a mediator between man and God. It was his duty to keep them reconciled unto him. God had put him in charge of caring for them, physically and Spiritually. Just as we are placed in charge of our children and others are called Into leadership of the Church. The law is a reminder to us of what is right and it sets a standard for us that will bring us back I to correction so God can bless us. God is not going to Bless us when we are worshiping idols. Many times we make our own whether its sports, coon dogs, fishing, and even our family members. If we allow ANYTHING to come between us and God it is idolitry. Sometimes the devil will come along and throw garbage in our well and unless we keep it dug out then guess what will happen? No more fresh water. Jesus is the Living Water. He will quench our thirst for a spiritual drink. He keeps us hydrated and our vessels filled. We can cause our own blessings to be withheld from us. Once we acknowledge where we messed up then we take action to correct it our blessings will start to flow. Now, since I had repented for the both of us because......we stand together in family and Spiritual matters, weve been blessed. That same week we recieved 3 checks in the mail. It was money owed to us that had not been paid to us. We had been trying to get the situation taken care of for months. It just arrived. Almost like the situation fixed itself. That easy! We were blessed with all those apples, free of charge. A personal problem was resolved for me. I was reconsiled with some family members and we ended up having a great time and I even got to witness to them about Jesus love. Also to my surprise my fiddle practicing is coming along better than I thought it would. I said all that to say this. God isnt a mean God that has all these horrible strict rules to follow because he just wants to control us. He loves us and He wants us to prosper and do things that will be good for us. When we do them willingly it brings glory and honor to his SON. The one who paid the price for our sins. His blood covered me and through Jesus Christ I can be reconciled back unto God. If there are things clogging up your well I hope and pray that you start digging them out. God loves you and so do I.
