I hadnt heard much about the Twin Towers until they were gone. - TopicsExpress

I hadnt heard much about the Twin Towers until they were gone. Dont know much about skyscrapers and all the hustle & bustle of the city lights. But today I did see a pair of silos on top of a hill standing tall among the bark peeling sycamore and other bare limb trees. Not a sound is made to draw my attention but rather they stood tall and proud as though they were there to oversee the acres that sprawl out around them. They seem to be the center of attention during the harvest season and feeding times and require very little maintenance of their strong and sturdy bodies. The wall of slate rock along the side of the road has been crumbling as the ground thaws while a creek reflects the evening sunlight and ripples slowly downstream. Most things sit very still wondering if there will be more freezes, winds or was it safe to start sprouting from the ground. Dare to peek and start to grow. Its a quiet day for this time of the year, between winter and spring. A time to ponder on what lies ahead, that to be accomplished. Will things be renew or should it be replaced? Spring can be viewed at as a time for new beginnings, a fresh start but that should be searched for each day. Each new dawn as it arises and God reminds me Open Thine Eyes That I Might See. Normally we are looking but sometimes we just dont see. The Twin Silos meant as much to someone as the pair of towers did to others. Someones livelihood, past and their future.
