I hadnt nursed Cole in a few hours. When I woke needing to nurse, he only wanted/needed the milk from one side. Because I was still engorged on the other, I chose to wake Elsie enough for her to latch. She curled up against me just as she had when she was itty bitty. She reached up and held her hand to my heart the entire time she nursed. In those few moments, I felt so much longing to pick back up where wed left off when I began weaning her.
