I hadnt planned on being outdoors very long today but we have plants to care for so it was off to the garden we went- at first just to water but when we got there our squash was looking pretty raggedy...SO, I used good old sheep camp injun-uity to make a quick shade out of scraps left by other gardeners! Hopefully this shade will help our little plant brave through this wicked Phoenix heat, which sure made itself known through sweat and tan/burn lines. My message to you all today is if youre going to venture outdoors, wear sunscreen/protective clothing, drink plenty of water, and take breaks! Dont try to prove your resilience for prides sake. You never know if something will keep you outdoors longer than you intended, so be prepared. Stay safe, HANs!
