I half-way get the sudden outrage from the Greeks over Mona Scott and her portrayal of sorority women, but then I kind of dont. I dont watch any of these tomfoolish reality shows that showcase people as ignorant, shortsighted, unintelligent, and selfish whores. But I do get that its entertaining to some people, so I dont really attack it anymore like I use to. Now yall watch and rave all the time about her shows that degrade and stereotype Black women every week with all of these Love and Hip Hop shows. But now that these ladies are linked to the same socioeconomic group as you, now its a problem and its an outrage? Maybe Im looking at this the wrong way. But if yall never watch these ratchet shows in the 1st place, maybe Mona Scott and the shadow behind her wouldnt be bold enough to put a show like Sorority Sisters on in the 1st place. Should yall BOYCOTT the show? HELL YES!!! But boycott the other bullshit reality shows that they are feeding our youth and the stereotypes that they are perpetuating us to be. Just my two cents.
