I hate people think that if youre a singer/performer that you cant have one bad performance, Ill admit that 5SOS cover and BBC1 of I Miss You by Blink wasnt perfect, nothing is ever perfect, realize it. I do enjoy the cover cause it shows that even successful singers mess up. Its not terrible, but If Im honest, Luke seems nervous, and Calum didnt seen sure of himself either... With all the critics how do you expect them not to be insecure? They probably feel like no matter what they do its never good enough... I know they say they dont care about what the critics say, but its got to add some pressure to it... Look at it this way, Luke -18 (Since July)- hes only been singing maybe 3 years publicly. Calum- 18 (Since January)-Hes only been singing publicly for about 3 years publicly Michael- 18 (Since last Nov, he should be 19 soon)- Hes only been singing maybe 3 years publicly Ashton-20 (since July)- Hes not a singer, hes mostly backing vocals with a few minor solos, he began publicly singing roughly 4 years ago. NOTE: When I say publicly I mean uploading to youtube. Point it, every singer/performer is going to have a bad performance some time or another... Just look up Alex Gaskarth singing Jasey Rae on Buzznet years ago, he isnt always bad, but he had a bad performance... 5SOS are still teenagers, theyve got plenty of time to learn...and theyll learn...For a band with no vocal training, who just thought being in a band sounds pretty epic Id say theyre doing pretty OK right now...
