I hate to sound like a broken record...but, as I said...the corporate veil is vital to the protection of shareholders in closely held-corporations. I believe that it is now open season on the 90% of American businesses which operate as closely-held corporations; as consumers we should feel free to file suit against these corporations and their owners for corporate and personal assets because the Supreme Court says that the personal values of the owners are the values of the corporation. If there is any breach whatsoever of corporate obligations under the law, then those breaches are attributable to and liabilities of the owners. How about the first target be WalMart? Or should we start with a mom and pop furniture business hiring undocumented workers...a medium size poultry processing plant? The Supreme Court has ruled and stare decisis is now in play. The Fab Five need to discard their robes and don jump suits with the names of their corporate sponsors and two-foot-long clown shoes.
