I hated math during my school years until I realized, in college, that I am a visual learner. Then it became a breeze. I had to learn to transpose what was on paper to something that I could make sense of and comprehend its actual use and function in the real world. That being said, I had wanted to home school my kids since before they were born. I was actually able to pull that trigger about a month ago, and have decided to use an ancient math system of Vedic math. It is an ancient (far eastern) Indiian construct that allows for differnt variables in learning styles and it is pretty fun.
