I have 7 minutes before lights out for me...but have found my next read. My Autobiography by Sir Charles Spencer Charlie Chaplin. Born into poverty....began performing at age 10...discovered in 1913 while on tour in the US to make films by Keystone films. Founded United Artists studio in 1919 and was awarded an Oscar in the first year of the Academy Awards for versatility and genius. He was blacklisted for un-American activities during the McCarthy era and had his re-entry permit to the US revoked while visiting England in 1952. He moved to Switzerland where he lived until he died on Christmas day, 1977. A remarkable man who even wrote a marvelous song for his movie Modern Times. Though its been nearly 100 years, Charlie Chaplin was an artist and consummate human being - denying labels but with the inimitable gift to make us all Smile https://youtube/watch?v=iu-rLA4POkI
