I have Cancer. And its taken me too long to put those words down where more than one person sees them.. Denial? In a way, yes, I suppose. Im praying that a delay in surgery has helped to save my life, as the tool used in hysterectomies (morcellerator) was recalled because it was spreading this cancer everywhere. In those who didnt know they even had cancer, it seemed to cause it, but was probably just spreading cancer cells around that were already there.. Anyway, I hope the delay will help, not worsen things. It is a slow-growing cancer, thankfully.. But Ive had it a long time and slow or not, it still does grow.. Now that new procedures are in place, my surgeon is backlogged. Im looking at early November, although thats not set in stone... I should be fine, but one thing I know about cancer is that nothing is textbook. One cell missed now, could become many, later on. Keep me in your Prayers, please. Ive never needed them more! BTW, Donna my tiny Dachshund, is showing a bit of improvement today. God bless all who have said a prayer for her, but please dont stop.. Shes nowhere near being out of the woods, yet!! (Kinda like me, I guess..) I love you all.. Please take good care of yourselves!
