I have GREAT news: 1. The pew is gone! 2. There are dark chocolate puff cookies cooling on the counter that *just* came out of the oven and smell really good. 3. We have been blessed with a lot... I mean, a LOT of requests for custom cakes and parties at the bakery. Between this week and next week, we have SO MANY orders and events to prepare that were going to have to close down the walk-in retail part of the shop next week. There are just not enough hours in a day for me to bake the goodies for the front case every day AND work on the custom orders AND prep for parties (AND be with my family... those pesky priorities again). So, Im so so rry for any inconvenience, but there will be no treats available for walk-ins next week. Today, though, Im here until 6 and tomorrow well be here 9-noon.
