I have Lulu Ysarua Martinez at home waiting for call to drive her down to childrens...her hemo is 6.7 and platelets are 5K...she needs 3 to 4 bags of blood and double platelets......they will be reducing the amount of vincristeen chemo due to her swollen jaw and PAIN yet....they said her body is not absorbing the chemo fast enough and she just received 3 large doses of this chemo over the last few weeks so that is why we still have neuro and jaw issues yet......the hospital and short stay are full so they know we have a 2 hour drive so when its clear I will be SAFELY YET HASTLY transporting her to childrens for 10 to 12 hours of tranfusions and then will drive her home....our local hospital takes 2 to 3 hours to get her the blood so it is just as fast to go to MPLS fyi...(those of you who are wondering why she cant be fused in St Cloud).....and of course I hate driving in the winter and we had a lovely ice storm here last night....so packing us snacks and entertainment and watching my phone...thanks Trish Jungbauer-Hill for driving us to doctors this AM...will post more when I know more....
