I have a 2001 3cyl 40hp Mercury Lightning XR (2 stroke oil injected very powerful motor) for sale. Its a long shaft with electric start and forward controls. Its in fantastic condition with very little use. It is manual tilt but i do have the power tilt/trim unit which needs the wiring to be installed (unit is over $900 new). I am after $2500 with the tilt/trim unit or $2000 without. Prices are firm. Motor has been taken off my boat but I can send videos of it running or possibly set it up and show it running for serious buyers. The only reason im selling is because i have just upgraded to a 50hp 4stroke. Located Gosford.
