I have a 2003 model son of Docs Stylish Oaks. Hes a brother to Docs Stylish Sam. I believe his registered name is Docs Stylish Pete. (Petey) Bred through Drummond ranches cutting horse program he was gelded and turned into a ranch horse after not making the cut. Over 15 hands hes solid as a rock and will rope anything. There isnt a thing you will encounter during everyday ranch work he hasnt seen. Hes literally been rode thousands of miles. No run off problems just has an attitude and likes to do things his way. He bends flexes and will drag his butt across the dirt. Ive been using him working sale barns mostly with day work here and there for 6 months so he is very pen friendly. I load pots off him and ride up load out chutes with just halter and lead rope but use a correction bit in open pasture to ensure stop. Like I said he will not run off but doesnt honor a snaffle or hackamore as well so when I know Im roping correction bit it is. In pens anything is fine. Doesnt watch cattle while sorting as well as I expected but you can do it well you will just have a little more tired legs. Our attitudes dont agree is only reason Im selling him. As a guy who starts horses I want them bent into every gate not 8/10 those two come I tune on him a little get off he wrecks your stuff. ONLY FLAW he holds a grudge and will get even. If you take him for the awesome all around ranch horse he is you will be fine. I cant make myself watch him put his head over a gate. Big pet peeve. You will have to petition NCHA AND AQHA for his papers. Drummonds did not give papers when we were given the horse. I want $5000 obo no lower than 4 ,thats questionable 10 years of experience on a major ranch with rides almost everyday is valuable, and a good cowboy style or ranch cutter saddle mine is in need of major TLC call or preferably text 5802284559 need him sold asap. Using money to buy a pickup. Is a Cadillac smoothest horse you will ride. Comparable to a foxtrotter. Located in Terral Oklahoma.
