I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 for sale - used probably a total year of its 5 year life. Bought it to go to University in 2010, hasnt gotten much use since! I have the quartz HD screen upgrade for it, as well as the core 2 duo 2 ghz processor. Its got 1gb of onboard RAM as well as an open expansion slot, DVD reader/burner, and the Intel M165 onboard video card (one upgrade up from the standard.) Ive had it dual booted before to run Mac OSX and vista simultaneously, which worked like a charm. Its got a 230GB harddrive, and a XD card reader which honestly I have never used, so I dont know if it works! Aside from missing an alt key, its in pretty good shape. There are some slats cut out of the fan casing on the back in order to increase ventilation - I also removed the CPU last year, cleaned all the fans, re-applied thermal paste and re-attatched the heatsink. Its a very decent workstation PC - used to play a lot of WoW on it as well as Minecraft, Starcraft, Age of Empires 2/Age of Mythology, etc. It doesnt work unplugged but its because the battery is 5 years old - a new working 9 cell 10 hour battery is about 50$, and this comes with a 14 foot power cord so Ive never really noticed the lack of portability. It has windows 7 Ultimate on it, but I can load it up with XP, Vista (god forbid) or something else entirely. It has touch-activated music controls, a working webcam, and HDMI out. As an added bonus, I have terabytes upon terabytes of games and shows on my desktop PC - Im more than willing to include seasons of any show you want, as well as any laptop friendly games that you might want on here before you buy it! Its also got all of the Office suite, and I can rig it up with Photoshop CS2 or anything else youd want on here. Make me an offer!
