I have a HUGE praise to announce and much thanks to all those who have been praying for me! I just got off the telephone with my Oncologist and we have just been told that after more than 6 months of fighting, pleading, praying, and begging that TRICARE has finally agreed that the RQ-PCR for BCR-ABL is medically necessary and therefore has been approved! No Bone Marrow Biopsy on October 3rd just some blood tests. THIS IS A HUGE ANSWER TO PRAYER!!! The RQ-PCR for BCR-ABL is a much more sensitive test that will show my doctor just how I am responding to the chemotherapy. It is less invasive, less expensive, and WAY less painful!
