I have a big week ahead of me. I found out a few days ago that after having labs at vanderbilt IBD clinic that I have very low iron and am going to have to start IV infusions of iron sometime this week. tuesday I will be having an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy in vandy to see whats going on to cause me to be SO anemic. I have always been mildly anemic. then on friday, I will be having a thyroid biopsy. I found out a couple weeks ago that after a routine CT scan and then an ultrasound that I have 3 nodules on my thyroid. one on the left and two on the right. the one on the left side is rather large I was told and needs to be biopsied because its what needs to be done plus the radiologist noted the nodule was hard and solid instead of soft which would have indicated maybe a cyst. I am trying hard not to worry but its hard not to. I would appreciate your prayers very much. thanks!
