I have a confession to make. Yes, I KNOW its the umpteenth one and its becoming a bit of a habit. But this ones good and a bit of a Christmassy story for you before bedtime. I bet youre all thinking, Wow! That Jules from Juju & Bubba is a whizz! All those orders of cards, and paintings, and coasters shes wrapped, packed and dispatched over the last hectic three months. How DOES she do it? Well, Ive had a bit of help from a trio of Tomte from Sweden. May I introduce you to Tom, Tee and Toe sitting atop my very last pile of orders for 2014. Theyve been completely devoted throughout and now Im waving them goodbye. I shall miss their cheery dispositions, ability to see something positive in every problem and their incredible work ethic. And erm...theyve been on the sherry so look a bit disheveled! And if you havent met a Tomte before heres a bit of background info. Tomte- A tomte is described as an older, little man about the size of a young child. He wears old clothes and sports a bright red cap on his head. He resides in the pantry or barn and watches over the household and farm. He is responsible for the care of the farm animals, especially the horses. The tomte has an enormous capacity for work but will not tolerate anyone’s interference. It is believed that a clean and orderly home or farm is an indication that this domestic sprite resides there.
