I have a debate for all of you. My mom is a hard working lady. She owns Joyces Catering. The new health ordinance says in the Selma Times Journal, that anyone who makes baked goods at home must put a label on their foods that displays the person or business name, the address where It came from and state that the food is not inspected by the department of Public Health.What this is gonna do is take away from her business and other surrounding business. I understand that they must complete a food safety course to be able to do so, but do they not understand all of the natural illness that you could get?Im not saying that you will, but it could be a possibility. This will hurt the surrounding business in Selma. Its already bad enough when you have people doing it out of there houses now, not being inspected by the Department of Public Health. What do yall think?
