I have a favor to ask ALL of my praying friends would you please lift my child, Evan, up in prayer. He has been taken to Floyd Medical Center due to an accident at wrestling practice this evening. Hes done something to his neck/head/back & upon injury, which NO coach/authority figure saw, he instantly couldnt move very well or even stand to walk. He was in severe neck/head pain. He mustered enough strength to army crawl his way to the sidelines/bleachers. His twin brother then had to inform a coach as to what had happened as they didnt witness it. They (Im not sure who they are, but I WILL BE finding out.) told Owen to call his parents & let them know what had happened, because to my understanding, our phone number was not known. Im positive I filled out the appropriate paperwork which included a million numbers of family as well as friends who could be reached in case of an injury/emergency. Eric rushes straight out of the house & I called him while en route & told him to call 911 so his body, head, & neck could be mobilized. Instead, Eric told the coach we would be taking him to the ER to be checked out. And, guess what was the first thing they did when we get to the hospital? Yep, neck brace & the whole 9 yards. He is back from his CT scan & now we wait. Im one worried & upset momma. Please pray for my boy. Thanks in advance & I will update more when I know more. The pictures are of my son before heading to school this morning & the other about 12 hours later. :(
