I have a favor to ask of all of you. First let me tell you no one at the library or associated with the Effingham Library asked me to write this. As you all probably know they are working toward moving into their new building (old fifth third bank building). The building is paid for but there are many improvements that have to be made to bring it to code for the library to move into it. I think its about $3,000,000 worth. Many of us use the library quite often for books we dont have to buy and for movies we dont have to rent, or if you dont you should check it out because they have a lot of good movies they will loan you for a week for free. If we could all step up with just a dollar or 2 every week to support them it would be a major help. We all have bills and I know most of us live payday to payday so Im not asking you to give a lot, but if 1000 of us gave just $1 every week, that would be such a huge help to them. Just something for all to think about at the beginning of this season of giving. They are hoping to move in 2014. Lets see what we can do to help make it happen!
