I have a few things to say about last weeks Natural Light Photography Workshop. Unlike so many other trainers who use extremely experienced, made up to the eyeballs, styled professional models that quite frankly a trained chimpanzee could easily shoot, the three wonderful girls who modelled for us are as close to shooting real clients as it gets. What all of you did was turn out way more than competent and creative images that were flattering, nicely retouched, beautifully presented and whats more, full of life rather than blank expressions. I couldnt be happier with the results. This weekend (Saturday 16th) sees a STUDIO WORKSHOP here at Victoria House in Royal Leamington Spa where there are now only 4 places left. Our model is Hattie Jackson who did an amazing job for us on Thursday. The big news is that Photomart TogBlog who have graciously equipped the studio with iLux Lighting are giving a voucher valued at £75 against the purchase of a lighting kit. That could effectively make the course FREE! They will continue to support my Studio Workshops in this way for the foreseeable future. On Sunday 17th there will be another NATURAL LIGHT WORKSHOP again at Guys Cliffe House. There are still 6 places available on this one and I shall promote outside of this group tomorrow. Just £45 a place. However, its going to be a little different. My models will be Kate, accompanied by my friend and creative subject Christopher Duffill who will be dressing in a suitably complimentary manner thereby enabling me to teach the lighting, posing and composition of a couple as well as individuals! The theme will be Regency in keeping with the location. Finally for now, the last NATURAL LIGHT PORTRAITURE WORKSHOP of the year will be held again at Guys Cliffe on Sunday 31st August. Just £45 a place and 6 places still available. Modelling on the day will be Kate and her beautiful, articulate and talented ten year old daughter, Miranda. This adds yet another dimension to this already popular and exciting workshop. Ill be sure to repeat this type of workshop in 2015 but cannot guarantee to price it so low i the future. Look at this as a last chance to be part of something so valuable and equally inexpensive!
