I have a friend that.... Who, Believe it or not, has a horse (strictly for his defined purposes), who adamantly believes that animals have zero thought capabilities, aside from self gratification, self preservation and reproduction. I could show him this video and he would rationalize it away, siding AWAY from the fact that the cat was defending that child. Of course his way of thinking irritates me, but more than that, it saddens me. Because his way of thinking will always limit him from ever feeling the joy comes from connecting with an animal. Nice video, I had to share....
