I have a great deal of respect for Casey Kasem and all he accomplished - though, unlike many of my colleagues and friends, I was never a huge fan of American Top 40, and Casey is not the reason I got into radio (that honor would go to Chickenman - and, as a voice actor, Im more impressed with Caseys work as Shaggy on Scooby Doo) - but I was very sad to see how Casey was treated at the end of his life, and equally sad to see all the somewhat gleeful posts of his now infamous, vulgar outtakes - I remember seeing this when it originally aired and I remember laughing uncontrollably - if anything, Im laughing even harder now, and have even more respect for him and his willingness and ability to parody his lifes work - and this is how I choose to remember him - ...Steve
