I have a love/hate relationship with my generation. We have so many opportunities and access to kick start our dreams; technology being the leading source. Its beautiful and Im grateful. However, Im tired of bully invested memes, excessive vulgar terms, and videos highlighting hate crimes. Id be lying if I said that I havent laughed at a few but when I really seat back, Im not happy of being a member of a culture bashing society. Are we that bored that collectively, weve decided to make fun of all our realities? Extending an invitation to communities (other than African American) to mock, and deface our sorrows. I guess I wish more young people would vocalize the pride, love, and intelligence that our ancestors fought so hard; especially with the access to social media. Is it just me?
