I have a new TV! It has almost twice as much screen space as my old one, 29 vs. 19. I have read through the instructions (OCD?) and discovered they strongly advise either screwing the unit into the tabletop or securing it to the wall with one or more straps. While this seems like excellent advice, especially in a household with a cat-missile, do people really do this? I cant imagine putting screw holes in a piece of furniture. On the other hand, my TV table was purchased 35 years ago at a thrift store for $10, so I might choose the screw-down option. I have no wall on which to hang or secure the screen. And BTW, what kind of strap?? Do you sell them? Where can I find one? Shouldnt you include at least one with the set? *disgusted* And of course theres the thought that it wouldnt be necessary to secure it if they would just design the thing better instead of setting the huge screen atop a 1 metal cylinder attached to a piece of weightless plastic the size of a piece of paper... *even more disgusted*
