I have a new mission in Bitcoin - Lets quit the BS and get to what really matters. To me, its not about techies and VCs and businesses making money and MIT students buying hot dogs on campus in BTC. Yes, these are all important pieces of a successful technology and ecosystem, but there is entirely too much focus on these things. Id like to see A LOT more attention, money, thought, energy, and enthusiasm placed on the developing and 3rd world, the unbanked and the disadvantaged, and figuring out how to tackle the real and big issues that Bitcoin can help address. Can we have some crazy expensive events with high powered speakers in the developing world and talking about how to address these issues?! PLEASE?! WE MUST STOP with the gender inequality and misogyny, 1st world focus, ego pumping, press for the sake of press, echo chambers, poster children for the good, focus on the ROI, etc. LETS DO SOMETHING AMAZING with this technology. Lets REALLY change the world!
