I have a question about cadence. Im an old (73), slow runner. Ive run off and on over the years, with more off than on, but have now been running regularly and (finally) trying to work on my form for about 2 years. Most of the things Ive read or heard advocate a cadence of 180. I have trouble getting it that fast or keeping it at the same rate on varying terrain. It seems to me that it should depend somewhat on your height. Should tall people have the same cadence as short people? Or do you ultra runners even worry about your cadence? Ive always run trails, but my longest race distance so far is a half marathon. Would love to hear what you all have to say about this. Thanks!
