I have a question for any non-US members and I apologize if its a little off topic. So here in the states a lot of people do not believe human caused climate change is real, but is something made up to impose more government regulations and tyranny. (I cant make this stuff up). To me this is just stupid because 97% of climate scientists agree it is a problem, and also its denying the basics of cause and effect. There is a flood of misinformation about the climate coming from right wing bible thumpers. I am wondering if other countries are having this same debate over something so important and basic? Is it just typical American bible thumping douchery that is unwilling to preserve the climate, or is this just another form of ignorance that comes with religion? You would think if someone believed an all powerful deity created the planet and all its life forms, they would feel obligated to protect it. Or does it mean they can shit all over it because their savior is coming to rescue them? Sorry for rambling, but this has been boggling my mind. Thanks!
