I have a reoccurring nightmare which I only have the night before I come down with flu. The dream starts of with me treading water in the middle of an ocean. It is night as the sky and the sea are black. The water feels more like ink than water which is strangely comforting. A feeling of dread fills me and I consider just giving up and letting the inky water swallow me instead of facing whatever is coming next. A faint rumbling builds to a mighty wall of noise only equal to the sheer wall of water towering over me. As I loose my fight for life with this storm I realise that the waves and ocean are not made of water. Instead the waves are formed from cello tape that has become twisted. As I struggle I become increasingly tangled and sink into the deep. Just as I assume Im about to expire the dream starts again. I am aware of all of the cycles that have occurred before in the dream. The cycles repeat until what seems like years pass. When I awake I feel very ill and sweaty. AL.
