I have a serious question. At the outset let me confess that I am virtually ignorant of disease and how it spreads to become a pandemic. If a little bit of knowledge is dangerous, then I am public enemy number one. That being said, I am suspicious that the opposition to travel restrictions from Ebola stricken regions is argued so that the privileged can maintain their opportunity to flee exposure to the disease. My question is whether my suspicion is without foundation; and if so, why is it off base.
