I have a sneaking suspicion that the recording and leaking of Bo Pelinis meeting with his former players was choreographed. The timing was just too perfect. Think about this: Had Pelini gone in front of the press and said what he thought about Nebraska AD Shawn Eichorst, hed have hurt his chances of finding work, and hed have been grilled in the press. But, the leak happened after he found a job at Youngstown State, working for another football coach, university president Jim Tressel. Plus, he didnt go in front of the press, but he had a private conversation that just happened to be recorded in its entirety, with good audio, and leaked -- so, people are sympathetic to him for having had people snoop on him. I know, it sounds like a conspiracy theory. Again, though, the timing is just too perfect. If it were planned this way, the plan went perfectly. Quite frankly, if I wanted badly enough to rip Eichorst so all could hear, as Pelini no doubt did, this is exactly how I would plan it. I wouldnt be surprised if he recorded it himself and personally mailed the tape to the Omaha World-Herald. I wonder if they can dust the envelope for fingerprints. Cliff Brunt and Karl Webb Jr., what do you think?
