I have a statement I need to make.. I hope it gets some to think... some of you who are Artists or Musicians.. have many times been upset that folks take your art songs or music...and either spread it around for free to others, or put it on their web pages to get hits without you getting any monies or even being asked first! ... Yet today I have seen some of you that have made these complaints before about others stealing from you...talking about being upset that the worlds biggest site of media thieves that illegally share copy write protected materials the Pirate Bay got shut down in their main location... I have one thing to comment on any of it.. Stealing is wrong no matter the supposed excuse.. and those of us who make a living in media should if nothing else know better than to steal from others and do what has been done to us and pissed us off! and takes from our potential income... myself I lose royalties on some things.. those places are not just hurting the Big companies but us all.. I really think some only have morals for others they expect to be met but not for themselves.. again stealing no matter the excuse is still stealing.. and a thief no matter how cute or cordial or supposedly excused with some lame justification in thier mind .... is still a lowly thief.. I know if I catch a thief in my home or studio stealing... they will be taken out on a stretcher with a few grams of lead in their head they did not have before.. about 16.5 grams for each of the minimum of 4 slugs to be exact... I hate thieves.. very very sad! ok preaching done Im off my soapbox!
