I have a ton of friends and Fam asking what happened today... Today has been a whirl wind of emotions. Came in to induce and naturally after dialating my water broke. Water made my umbilical cord fall out and that was a high risk for loss of circulation and oxygen to baby. They had to hold babies head up away from cord and within 30 secs 7 nurses were circling around me shaving my belly and wheeling me to the operation table. The nurse was telling me we have to get baby out now. everything happened so fast I couldnt stop crying. 5 mins later I was numbed up, and 2-3 mins after I was cut open (not totally numbed) and I heard his cry. it was the scariest moment of my life. they showed him to me, and then ran him to the nursery to observe. I was so out of it from the medication that I couldnt see straight when they showed him to me. Such a tiny babh so sweet and innocent. and then he was gone for 1 hour. While in recovery i could barely keepp my head up. When daddy finally wheeled Noah in I lost it. I cried so hard for the relief that it was over and he was okay. I finally got to breast feed and he latched like a pro for an hr. Neil and I were so scared, but the doctor sang him happy birthday and told me things happen differently tha. we want sometimes. Thank the Lord its over. Healing is hard but my baby is safe and thats all that matters. Thank you guys for your support and love
