I have a very difficult situation here. Sharon (my roommate) dated a guy for a brief time. He is her childhood friend. He broke it off by saying "she was not attractive enough for him". Believe me, he was trading up. After Sharon told me about this, I left a message, stating the deficits he has (55 years old, lives in a basement room, immature, etc.). BTW, he reactively said some pretty horrible things about me. I was reacting to the tears my best friend & sister shed. I could not believe that this man felt she was not good enough for him! Sharon has now reconciled with this man and is seeing him as a "friend". He came to pick her up tonight, I appeared with my hand out to reconcile, he literally said no thanks and left our home!
