I have accepted the 5 day gratitude challenge sent by Susan Andersen Strong. I humbly accept to list 3 things I am grateful for over the next 5 days. Everyday I will share this great opportunity with 2 more people, but feel free to share! 1. I am grateful for my wonderful husband. I know everyone says that. But in my case its very true. He evens me out- when I go nuts for something, he evens out my temper and knows how to calm me down. When I cant sleep because hes not next to me, I know hes somewhere feeling the exact same way. He knows every crazy story- that people only think they know parts of. He knows every tear and how to soothe me, even if he doesnt understand me. Hes my reasoning and my sounding board. When he says he doesnt care- he secretly is plotting how to fix what my issue is. He is truly my better half. I have lived, truly lived more of my life with him than without him- and cant imagine my life without him. 2. I am grateful for my amazing daughter- she scares me everyday. She is so much like me and Rich it frightens me to my core. She is truly a product of her environment and she is exactly the best parts of each of us. She is so much smarter than I am. She is my favorite part of everyday and I love her to depths I didnt know I was capable of. If the world ended tomorrow- as long as I had her with me, I would be fine. Sounds selfish, when you write it down but its true. I am so grateful to have her soul in my life. I am a better person for knowing her. 3. Im grateful for my parents. Its been a tough few months. But it just goes to show- how happy I am to have them in my life. In any capacity- Im happy I still have them. So many friends have lost their parents, and I am just lucky to be able to have them here with me. To call them whenever I need them- or just to talk to, just to have them, make me grateful. Tonight I completed my first day, I will now challenge Dawn Marchia Meule and Nicole Meule to attempt this. I think they will have no problem doing this!
