I have always been a big Bob Senneker fan and wanted to highlight some of his career accomplishments. Sennekers Winston Cup debut came in 1968, when he competed in the Daytona 500. Starting 34th in the field of fifty, Senneker ran a fantastic race and piloted his way to a 13th place finish. Senneker did not return to the circuit until 1970, when he competed at his home track of Michigan. It was another respectable race for the driver, completing most of the laps in route to a 21st place finish. He would make another start in 1981 finishing 21st and five starts in 1983 before concentrating on his short track racing. He would collect over 500 late model feature wins in and around the Michigan area and was the ASA Champion in 1990. Bob Senneker was inducted into the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame in 1988.
