I have always believed that a Mans word is his oath and indeed one should always keep ones word. Cherish promises and validate oneself by doing so. I very ever rarely ask for anything for myself, but will always go out on a limb to ask a favour for a friend that needs help; through a contact or someone that I have been able to assist in the past in my vast array of roles over the years. Ironically enough just before my last vacation a very dear friend offered to assist me with something I truly wanted; assured me we would get together and discuss at length. Call me a cynic I would like to think that people would help maybe could help or maybe sometimes are unable to say I cant help Funnily enough I sent an Easter message to this friend on Sunday he acknowledged my message by using another name:Carlos????? I replied how soon we forget not because of the promise he made but because he used the wrong name . Today he has sent me a number of texts apologising as he had forgotten me.he wishes to ring me later. Friends my point is that one should never take a promise for granted nor an assurance that you will do something. I am yet to speak to him and I hope that he is going to follow through with something for me. My point here is that PROMISES are sacrosanct and at least remembering a friends name should be up there too !!! I hope we he rings we can remonstrate maybe even equivocate and hash out my need his ability to bring it to fruition and find out who the heck Carlos is ????? JOSEPH
