I have always had this thing where I wont call someone ugly and mean it sincerely. It used to be because I didnt want to have karna bite me and I would turn out to have ugly kids. Then it changed to how I would feel if I knew people were calling me ugly and now I fully understand why it has always bugged me. As a society we are told that skinny is beautiful and being tall is beautiful having a certain hair color makes you beautiful and the color of your eyes made you beautiful. True those are the things that make you beautiful on the exterior but as totally cliche as this is going to sound. Honestly it really is the inside that truly counts. Who are we to call someone ugly? God says that we are created perfect in his eyes. Who are we to tell god that he created something so ugly that in reality is completely perfect to him. Beauty is only skin deep. Someone may not hold that beautiful standard created by society and they could the nicest person you would ever meet. The same goes for the prettiest person in the world that could a heart full of selfishness and vanity. Just because you have that eye color that you think is horrendous or because your hair is not the length or color you want. Just because you have extra pounds or lack of or too much height doesnt mean you arent beautiful. even the darkest of hearts are beautiful in their own way. This also goes for when you look at yourself in the mirror and frown because to you you are not beautiful. You are beautiful and whether or not others notice it or if you even notice it you are. So next time you go to call another person ugly including yourself just think about the characteristics and qualities they have that make them truly beautiful.
