I have always wanted to get a tattoo. Ever since I started watching wrestling and watched all those films with the mountain bikers, their cool super bikes, tight leather pants, studded leather jackets, hard terrain boots and of course tattoos. I went to one of the best tattooist in the country and after sitting down checking out designs for countless hours, he told me to go home and look for exactly what I want then go back. He said for him tattoos were about individuality, so I have to bring something personal and unique... I promise you, not one of his tattoos looks like the other. He prides in custom made tattoos. He also told me, Dont just put a tattoo because everyone has one. This is something you have to live with for the rest of your life. Something you should take pride in even at 70... He also adamantly refused to give me a piercing I have wanted for a long time, telling me that is a high risk area. you risk all kinds of infection and even your nerves might tear. What if someday it gets caught somewhere, it will tear off the tendons (No, I was not piercing my punani, you pervs!) So anyway, I forfeited the piercing and now I am forfeiting the tattoos too. Reason: it is too mainstream... everyone is getting a tattoo nowadays and getting one will just be joining the crowd. (I hate crowds and following them). And two, I only ever just wanted two tattoos and the more I think about it, the more am convinced I dont want them any more. One involves a dark memory from my past and the other, something I have no use for anymore. And now, am just from laughing with the tattoo guy about it. He says, I know someday, you will find something worth tattooing on your body, just please let me be the one to draw it on you. I will do it for free. Am like, Free? Why? Yes, free. Because you are one of the people I have met who has a center. You are in touch with your inner self, you know what you want but also listen to counsel. You are young but very wise, says the guy who is covered in tattoos and has piercings all over. Its like this year is be nice and kind to Ray year. The compliments, the blessings, the favour, the kindness, the promotions and breakthroughs just keep coming and coming. Ask me how I know there is a God, and how I know He loves me... I dont have to look far, He is all around me. I AM BLESSED!
