I have an obligation to my fellow man. I do. I must feed him - TopicsExpress

I have an obligation to my fellow man. I do. I must feed him when he is hungry, clothe him when naked, provide shelter and sustenance when he has none. I freely accept these obligations and reject Ayn Rand and her objectivist objections(!). Now, please explain to me how this creates the SLIGHTEST imperative to fund the state, which is a wasteful, totalitarian, pitiless monster which claims to have the sole authority to collect and disperse the moneys necessary to achieve these. Progressives make this jump seemingly without a second thought as to why the one would not necessarily equal the other. It is a befuddlement to me.
