I have an update on my neighbors daughter that was being mistreated. It has been a loooooong week!!! I thought all my efforts had been for nothing. As you know, I had a meeting with sheriff chuck wright. And he said he was ordering a welfare check. I thought that meant dss was finally being called in. That afternoon there was a car there that I thought was dss. And I was praying that they were removing this girl. The next morning at 8:30 I get a knock on my door. Im still in my gown trying to get awake. I go to the door & theres a female sheriffs deputy. She tells me that my neighbors are good people & that this girl is lying about a lot. I told her I didnt believe that. I had seen too much with my own eyes. I asked her about her not even having a mattress. She told me that she didnt have a mattress because she soiled it. My son told me later that their cat had urinated in it a while back. So Im thinking they showed her that saying that the girl did it. Also when I asked the girls dad about it, why didnt he tell me that??? Instead he bragged saying she didnt have anything in her room. I also asked this deputy about her being made to sleep outside. She said that she was only being made to stay out on the porch until she calmed down. And that she wasnt in any danger that the door was unlocked & she could go in at any time. I know thats not true either because when I dropped this girl off that night she was scared to go home but she was very calm. They met her out on the porch & didnt even let her go in & there they stood screaming at her. My daughter & I could hear them screaming at her from our house. So in my opinion that was a lie. The deputy told me that they had talked to her therapist & the girl had a lot of behavioral problems. And that there was no law against making a child run. I never asked about them feeding her an apple for supper or her not having clothes. I figured it was no use that they were going to believe the parents no matter what. Oh & this deputy told me the family would appreciate it if I would quit posting about this on social media. Yeah, its called freedom of speech & thats my right. Heres where it takes a turn for the worse for me. The deputy asked if I minded letting her come in & look around in my house. She said that the girls parents had made allegations against me. I told her I did not want her to come in my house & that I hadnt done anything wrong. She said she had to come in & look around. I thought they were supposed to have search warrants for that. She never told me what the allegations were. She looked in every room of my house & even my refrigerator. The only thing she found was a messy house. Needless to say I was furious. Its not fair that Im trying to help a child & in retaliation the parents can make allegations & the police allow this to happen. This is exactly why people dont stand up for whats right any more. I still dont have answers about the investigation into the behaviors of the sheriffs deputies. And I found out Friday that dss was still never called to investigate these parents. I do have some really really good news. All of our prayers have been answered & The girl is finally safe & happy!!! This is all I can tell you at this point. I would like to thank each & everyone of you for messaging me & checking on this sweet girl & me. You have reinforced what I already knew & thats there are still good people in this world. Please continue to pray for this girl because Im sure shes got a lot of emotional healing to do. Im gonna go now & relax & enjoy my nice clean house. I hope everyone enjoys their evening.
