I have asked both Mayor Strelow and the Rockhampton Regional Council When can we expect a response to our formal complaint? It was lodged 2 July and the referral to the Ombudsman was dated 2 August. Will we get a response this year? To date the only reply was from M Strelow who says it is with the Ombudsman. This is typical of Council, they have known about the situation for years and allowed it to get worse, they did not respond to our formal complaint and now dont want to venture an opinion as to when a response might be forthcoming. Yes M Strelow we did end up referring it to the Ombudsman after that farcical meeting with you in June. However I know Council told the Ombudsman you would investigate it, and I know you have been investigating it, so when might we expect an answer? This year or next?
